Hydyx and Danyx were twin brothers, sons of Breal and Pic. Guardians of several sacred ceremonies, they were highly sought after and well paid for their services. One of the rarer ceremonies they were called upon to perform was the exile ceremony, called upon when a god had consistently broken laws beyond the point of any pardon. Hydyx was the holder of the ceremonial Star of Cen, while Danyx was the keeper of the Forbidden Words.

Arlarac in Battle Dress

Known as a fierce and great warrier, Arlarac had won many battles against other gods across several millennia. His palaces were filled with bounty from fiercely won battles, including a sacred vessel from The Great Domitiya. His armour had been inherited from his grandfather and was made from fossilised branches of Sible trees.
Cibea Conjures a Storm

The gods Cibea and Lpaderi were lovers, but Lpaderi cheated on her with another god, the handsome and seductive Hadyx. One morning Cibea discovered them making love in the gardens. In fury, she breathed out a ferocious storm that enveloped Lpaderi and Hadyx and pulled them into the sky. Lpaderi and Hadyx yelled and screamed for help, but their cries were drowned out by thunder, and there was no escaping the storm. The lovers were doomed to spend eternity trapped in the midst of the storm's noise and chaos.
Obli Causes Chaos

There was order and structure across the lands, but Obli did not like it. Order and structure made it difficult for Obli to hide, sneak and thieve, and was often seen and reported. One day, Obli separately met with two gods who had previously been at war. He lied to each of them, and the war recommenced, causing chaos. Obli was happy and able to thieve easily while others were occupied in battles.

After 3000 years away, Luirac returned home, stalking across the archipelago of islands he had missed. Misadventures and war had scarred him with beautiful markings, which Luirac wore proudly. But Luirac had learnt that in his absence, his brother had taken his place as ruler; Luirac’s war days were not yet over.
Calyto at the Edge of Claves Ranges

Calyto crossed the land in search of Marghyn. The gods had granted him the gift of a deification and there was nothing for Calyto to do but accept his fate and destroy Marghyn as the gods had intended. Around him the air swirled and lit up with sparks like tiny fireworks. Something was wrong; something was going awry.
Marghyn Watches the Horizon

The day stars were already bright in the sky when Marghyn started watching the horizon. He knew the gods had sent Calyto to destroy him. But it was with increasing confusion that Marghyn watched Calyto’s approach. Marghyn felt a flutter that should not have been there. Where there should have been a war cry on his lips and destruction in his heart, instead there was that ridiculous flutter, and a question.
Nyshthra & the Reyneby Constellation

In fury, Nezjaten exiled his own daughter, Nyshthra. Her refusal to marry the suitor he had chosen for her might have been excused, but the highly public mockery was seen as a wanton betrayal. Nyshthra went happily, and roamed the Xanche territories for 177 years. Finally though, she settled, and was ready for company once more. Beneath the darkening sky and a pale moon, Nyshthra stood on Ahndova Mountain. She breathed in, exhaled, and from her breath poured a stream of stars that formed a new constellation in the sky. In the dusk of the evening, her former lover saw the constellation shining brightly, and, recognising their old signal, hurried to be by her side.
Qahjit Sings the Creation of the Sun

Before the creation of the creatures, and before the creation of light, Qahjit roamed the empty land in darkness. Qahjit loved the solitude and felt at home and knew the lands well. After a while, Qahjit grew bored and longed for company, but the other gods refused to come because they lived in the light and did not want to roam in the darkness with Qahit. So Qahjit stood on the edge of the land at the very top of the North borders, and started singing. The song fell beyond the land and spun into a disc that became the sun. As Qahjit stopped singing, the new sun rose high into the sky and brought light to the land.
Brumel Defends Lake Constellation

Sisters Chissa and Nya looked everywhere for stars to decorate the sky for their greedy lover. They flew high across the Tish Ranges and looked for sparkles on the vast plains of Tundra 7 but without success. Finally, in the pale gloaming light, they came across Brumel lying sleeping within Constellation Lake, surrounded by millions of bright pinpoints. Chissa and Nya dove down to steal the stars, but Brumel awoke just in time and saw the sisters. Furious at the audacity of their attempted theft of his precious stars, he frantically swept up the stars within his body, snapping at Nya’s heel as he drove them away.
Sharbouel's Theft

Sharbouel longed to possess a sacred vessel first owned by The Great Domitiya, but it had been won in battle by the powerful god Arlarac, and had remained in Arlarac’s possession for several centuries. So Sharbouel snuck into Arlarac’s palace early in the dawn light while everyone slept, and stole the sacred vessel from the Cabinet of Treasures. The theft was witnessed by Monitor birds who had followed Sharbouel there from 3 lands away.
Crossing the Porotio Ranges Incognito

Souufi needed to travel to another part of the land to check on a palace he was building, but there had been whispers of plans of his assassination, so instead Souufi traversed the Porotio Ranges as the servant, Wellare. It was easier to travel as being of no importance than as a god who ruled and owned palaces, cities, and lands.

Marghyn and Calyto continued their trek across the lands, hiding from the hordes of the gods’ hunters determined to bring an end to their forbidden love affair. Their love was causing meteorological oddness, and the Monitors were uneasy.
Migreii's Transgression

Under cover of night, and out of sight of the garden keepers, Migreii crept into the Hidden garden and gorged himself on the golden carloo fruit that grew there. But Migreii had been seen by a Monitor who promptly reported Migreii’s activities, and he was punished for his crimes. Sick of being spied upon by the Monitors, Migreii kicked the next Monitor he came across. The Monitor reported back, and Migreii was punished again.

From the star filled night sky came Marghyn, god of destruction, blazing through the darkness like a dying star. They finally landed at Jade Berg in a field of flowers which withered at their arrival. “I am your End”, screeched the god across the lands. “I am the Bringer of Death. Hark at my glory!” Ten korjs away and out of Marghyn’s sight, Calypso raised his head sharply.

As Calyto made his way across the land, the disturbances were mirrored in the skies. In Calyto’s wake, the clouds were pulled and pushed. Unusual weather patterns appeared. The Monitors made notes, humming and vibrating with concern.
Faiski Waited in Ambush

Gajtlo and Faiski were brothers, sons of King Ellark who ruled the Dark Lands to the north. Faiski yearned for power, and plotted his father’s death. Gajtlo, the younger son, who had been roaming the Xanche territories, heard of Faiski’s assassination plans and hurried back to protect King Ellark. But Faiski hid by the side of the road seven korjs from the capital, and waited patiently for his brother. The assassination had gone without a hitch, and now Faiski had only to rid himself of his brother to be entirely in power.

Calypso Jack called for help. He left carefully coded messages under the pebbles at Area 17, and painted them high in the skies at Ullsprings. Meanwhile, the Monitors watched the horizon and waited silently at Fej Fields for Calypso Jack. Machinations were underway.

In the dawn light to the east, Calypso Jack knew something was wrong. He had heard the warning that sounded across the land. It has been dire, dark and ominously threatening. He left quickly and with purpose, calling for help as he went. The Monitors watched, and the coded messages did not go unheeded.
